This site in Handsworth Wood had been vacant for a number of years and was significantly overgrown. However, there were a variety of mature trees that formed a woodland setting which our client was interested in keeping.
The brief called for a low-cost single storey house set amongst the trees. We developed proposals for a simple modular construction using structurally insulated panels (SIPs).
